Winter/Spring Class Schedule for 2012
Each class meets over 12 weeks. When you register for a site, you cannot attend other sites.
LOCATIONS:
1. Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (1950 Nagel Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45255)
Mondays from 7-9 PM starting on Feb. 13th and ending on April 30, 2012.

Tuesdays from 7-9 PM starting on Feb. 14th and ending on May 1, 2012.

3. Deerfield United Methodist Church (2727 W. US 22 in Landen)
Thursdays from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM starting on Feb. 16th and ending on May 3, 2012.

MOTHERLESS DAUGHTERS STUDY GROUP:
Ask any woman who has experienced mother loss through death, physical absence, or emotional absence and she will tell you that she is irrevocably altered and profoundly changed. Although a mother’s influence is as inevitable as nightfall, we seldom address the lasting effects of this most impressionable event.
This life-affirming study uses the book, Motherless Daughters by Hope Edelman along with the Motherless Daughters Ministry Workbook. The study searches for understanding of:
- How the absence of a mother’s nurturing hand shapes a woman’s identity
- How present-day relationships are shaped by past losses
- How mother-loss influences our style of mothering
- How the grief of mother-loss surfaces throughout our lifetime
- How we experience living beyond our mother’s final years
Classes take place over 12 weeks and are held at least three times during the year. Class Size is limited to 8 women and you must pre-register.
SUPPORT NETWORK:
A safe place where Motherless Daughters can deepen relationships and develop a support network for continuous healing. This group meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at Montgomery Community Church and is open to any woman who has experienced mother loss at any time and needs a safe place for support.
MENTORS:
Providing safe, one-on-one caring support to any woman who has experienced mother loss and requests a mentor. To request a mentor, please fill out the form below.
ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP:
Ok, so you've completed the 12-week study, but you still need the support of other women to continue the changes you have made; or start on the changes you decided to implement in the Motherless Daughters study group but are having difficulty moving on to. So, what's next? It is time you join an accountability group of women who meet to encourage each other to continue in their personal, emotional, and spiritual growth; to share your dreams, hopes, failures, fears, and your faith!
