There's still time to join a Growth Study; register below!
What is a Growth Study?
Do you feel like you've stalled, hit a wall, or come across a tough spot on your life journey?Joining a men's or women's growth study may be exactly what you need to jump start your faith and get your life back on track.
Growth Studies are gender specific. Under the gentle and loving guidance of trained leaders, we use four participant guides, the CR Bible, and the 8 Healing Principles based on the Beatitudes to help us grow and be transformed. Each Growth Study begins as an "Open" group (meaning new people can join during this time). Once a group completes Participant's Guide #1, the Growth Study becomes a "Closed" group (meaning no new people can join the group after this time).
What are the expectations for me as a Growth Study participant?
You commit to being present at every meeting of your Growth Study until it is completed. Exceptions for missing are if you are sick, out of town, or working.
You commit to purchase the required curriculum and complete the written homework before each weekly meeting during the Growth Study (Total Cost $40).
You commit to attend at least 1 Thursday night Open Share meeting every month. This will help you continue to grow and it will help other attendee's (especially newcomers) to meet and learn from people who are ahead of them on their faith journey. You will also have the opportunity to add to your Support Team at this meeting.
You commit to building your Support Team before beginning Participant's Guide #2 by connecting with 2 or 3 other people. A Support Team is made up of...
Encouragers or Accountability Partners - someone of the same gender as you, who offers mutual encouragement, support, and accountability by phone, email, or in person.
A Sponsor (Mentor) - someone who is the same gender as you, who has completed a Growth Study (or at a minimum the 4th Principle). This person's primary goal is to help you grow closer to Christ, complete your Growth Study, and apply the 8 Principles to your daily life.
