QR Codes
QR Codes (short for Quick Reference Codes) are a new and innovative way to access mobile internet and functions from a mobile device (smartphones that use applications). They use the camera of mobile device to scan a 2d serial codes that then directs the user to a mobile website, send a text message, add a contact, or many other options. These QR Codes can appear on media such as brochures, banners, flatscreen TVs, the weekender, and business cards. As we at MCC use QR Codes, we will be sure to clearly state under each QR code where this code will send you to.
To use a QR Code: On your mobile device, launch your QR Code Reader Application, scan the code on your mobile device and then follow any instructions from the application. The final result is your mobile device will take you to the destination determined by the QR Code (website, email, video, etc.). To Download a QR Code Reader Application, follow one of the the links below to the I-Nigma QR code reader for Apple Device, Android Device, or Blackberry. If you have a mobile device that doesn't use applications (apps), unfortunately QR codes are unable to read on those devices at this time.
