Preteen Discipleship Class

Crosstown offers several discipleship classes throughout the year to take our relationships with Christ deeper and make Jesus the focus of our lives.

This time as a Preteen is critical. It can be very lonely and tough. Preteens are too big for the little kid stuff and not old enough for the issues that Middle School faces. Take time with them to team up through our ministries designed with the kids & parents in mind:

  • Daughters of the King: Mother/Special Friend and Daughter Ministry to develop young ladies into all that God had in mind for them. Through service projects, social events, and Bible studies, these Daughters of the King will begin to understand self-confidence, purity, and their connect to Jesus and each other.

  • TrueSons: Guiding boys into Godly Manhood. This Father/Mentor and young man experience sets the stake in the ground: from this point on you are a man of God. Through events targeted for connection and fun; to a 5-week discipleship class that ends with a rite of passage experience not to be forgotten.

  • TEAM 56 is a ministry that our Preteen's can choose to be a part of within Crosstown. The purpose of this group is to develop Spiritual Leadership and get our Preteen's involved in serving & ministering to others within our church and outside the walls of the church.  The only requirement: Must be a professing believer of Jesus Christ and have a desire to make a difference in the world! Applications are handed out at the end of September.  Following several weeks of teaching & training through the Word, preteen's will use their gifts to serve in various ways. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact Pastor Kim at kvaught@mcc.us.

For any questions or more information about Preteen event, contact Patrick Vail, our Elementary Director.
