Early Childhood

Our mission at Crosstown Children's Ministry is to impact the lives of kids with the love and message of Jesus Christ in an atmosphere where kids feel a sense of belonging. In the Early Childhood area we hope that we can partner with parents in the spiritual development of their children. In addition to the children's individual worship time we also offer times for families to experience God together through special events held during the year. On Sundays we also provide a Special Needs ministry called Special Hope, which is staffed and led by trained personnel.

• Extensively trained volunteers who are committed to teaching and building relationships with your child.
• Teaches kids fun age appropriate lessons from many different areas of the Bible.

At Crosstown, our Early Childhood area is a place that kids can call their own. Our goal is to start children on their life long journey as a follower of Jesus. We have three themed areas that create a kid friendly atmosphere for learning and relationship building to take place.

	Baby Builders: [Newborn - 18 months] - Our nursery is a place where trained volunteers will provide a safe and loving environment while parents attend weekend services. During this time your children's needs will be met. This includes changing, bottle feeding and TLC.
	Construction Zone: [18 months - 2 years] - We believe that even the youngest children have the capacity to learn about God and His love for us. These classes are designed to partner with parents in the beginning of their child's introduction to a Christ centered life. During this time children participate in story time, praise and worship and will have a small snack. Diaper changing is available if needed.
	Discovery Land: [3 years - Kindergarten] - Each classroom is kid friendly and is a place they can call their own. Each week the lessons are age appropriate and focus on many different aspects of the Bible. During this time there is also praise and worship and a craft in relation to the weekly lesson. A small snack will also be provided during this time. Parents are encouraged to discuss the lesson at home during the week with the help of a take home activity sheet.

At MCC, we offer Baby Dedications where Christian parents have an opportunity to commit their child and themselves to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways. For more information on having your baby dedicated, visit our Baby Dedication page

We also encourage those kids who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior to be Baptized. For more information, check out our Baptism page.
