Understanding Poverty Seminar

Are you interested in learning about how to understand poverty and make a real impact with at risk families trapped in poverty? Then join us April 21st for a class that can help you learn just that. 8:30am - 11:30am there will be a seminar taught in the Gallery of MCC to help you learn how to have a real relationship with those in need. Please contact Deborah if you have any questions or would like to register for this class.

JobsPlus Employment Network

Ezekiel Outreach Ministries

Ezekiel Ministries organizes volunteer opportunities to bring encouragement to hurting people in urban Cincinnati. On the final Saturday of each month, MCC assumes the leadership role for The Lord’s Pantry in Over the Rhine. We prepare and serve lunch, we lead a Bible teaching, and we pray and encourage people who are hungry for hope. If you feel called to share the goodness of Jesus Christ with others, we would love for you to join us. Contact Ellen Tischler at 513.252.6347 or contact Chuck Peckham at 513.587.0104.

StepUp Prison Mentoring

StepUp Prison Mentoring Program of JobsPlus allows you to simply be a friend to someone who is down and out. StepUp is a mentoring program, assisting residents at River City Correctional Center in making a positive transition into their community, through affirming personal relationships. Help your mentee to develop goals which include employment goals, Bible study, and staying on track once they are released into society. It may sound a bit scary, but it is safe, well organized, and immensely rewarding as you play a key role in transforming a life. You can play a BIG part in giving someone a second chance! Contact Brad Mueller at 513.275.0157 or Joni Lipsey.
