We CAN Ministry at MCC
The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday at MCC. It is also the Sunday when we collect canned goods and non-perishable items for food kitchens. This is a small way we can say “thanks” for our many blessings. Everyone is welcome to participate in this ministry. We ask you not to bring anything in glass and make sure items are well before their expiration dates. Hunger is unacceptable in our community. With your help, we can “bag” it! Contact Ann Barfels at 573-4634.
Our collection for June 2-3 is for N.E.E.D.S. (Northeast Emergency Distribution System) housed at Kenwood Baptist church. They are specifically requesting canned peas and green beans. Please bring all items to the van parked at the Montgomery Road entrance.
