Each year, an army of volunteers impact Cincinnati through various service projects in a one-day, citywide blitz of compassion. Working alongside other churches, we show love to dozens of families and community-based organizations throughout our city in practical ways.
It's finally here! If you are interested in getting out there and impacting the city of Cincinnati by serving and building relationships with those around us please join us on May 19. The event begins at MCC at 8:30am. Please remember to wear a white shirt.
GO CINCINNATI was May 14, 2011.
For the first time in our five years of serving the local community through GO Cincinnati, bad weather on May 14th created quite a challenge! It was the wettest and muddiest GO Cincinnati ever. Despite a steady rain, 274 servants from MCC gave up their Saturday to serve on 27 projects at 13 different sites.
Our teams repaired plumbing and replaced rotting steps, front porches and interior floors. We painted and stained. We repaired damaged water lines, and rebuilt damaged soffits. We cleaned yards, planted colorful flowers and mulched. It was a great time for all invovled to experience the love of Jesus Christ. The next GO Cincinnati will take place on May 19, 2012. Mark your calendars and get ready show our community the love and care of Jesus Christ!
