Our History...

After being established in Roselawn in 1942, Montgomery Community Church (a member of American Baptist Churches – USA) grew into a congregation drawing people from many neighborhoods across the city. In the late 70s, the church caught a new vision for reaching the people who were moving out beyond the beltway that surrounds Cincinnati, and relocated to its present site in Symmes Township. The church immediately began reaching out to the community in fresh, relevant ways.

Our Mission...

Love God, Love People, and serve both, is part of the fabric of everything we do.  We hope to be known in the community as the church which is building bridges and serving people locally, nationally, and in other countries.

Since then, MCC has grown to an average attendance of over 1600 in our four weekend worship services. We have twice expanded our facilities to accommodate the growth in people and programming, including adding our Activities Center and Preschool wing in 1995 and our new Sanctuary and Christian Education wing in 1998. In April 1999, a severe tornado ripped through our community, destroying many homes and other buildings. Part of our church was destroyed, but by the grace of God, nobody was injured. We rebuilt the damaged wing of the building and reopened it in October 1999.
