When you step onto the campus of Montgomery Community Church, you come in contact with hundreds of volunteers that are all here to make sure your time at MCC is a great experience. We want our guests to say
“Wow! I’m impressed,”
within the first 10 minutes of their visit.
We intentionally create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome; providing a "safe place" where people can experience the transforming reality of Jesus Christ. We want people know that they matter to God and therefore they matter to us. All of these volunteers teams make up what we call "First Impressions"

Ambassadors
These teams, made up of both men and women, serve in snow, rain and sunshine to assist guests in finding an open parking space and orchestrate the large number of cars coming in and out of the campus parking lots

|
Greeters
Greeters serve in a monthly rotation. They welcome our guests with warm smiles and cheerful greetings from the curb to the front doors to the entry of the Worship Center.

|
Ushers
Once inside the Worship Center, ushers will offer assistance in finding a seat. These teams distribute bulletins and collect the offerings each service.

|
Information Desk Services
These teams provide information and facilitate registrations for all classes, next steps, and connection events
|
|
|
|
Higher Grounds
These volunteers make and serve coffee at our coffee bar. They are a gift of kindness through their service and their personal warmth for all who attend each Sunday.

|
|
|
Neighborhood Welcome Team
These volunteers reach out to first time visitors to our church. A first time visitor is brought a bag of materials and cookies within the week of their filling out a visitor’s card.
