At MCC, we think Small Groups have the potential to change our lives, our church, our neighborhood and our world. Small Groups offer an opportunity to engage in the kind of reflection, application, growth and accountability that just can’t happen in the larger worship services. We invite you to join us in doing life together!
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group at Montgomery Community Church (MCC) is made up of people who meet regularly to share with one another, study and support one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 tells us that we are “to encourage one another and build one another up.” Small Group members love one another, pray for one another, care for one another, just hang out and have some fun with one another. In other words, do life together to create life-changing relationships.
We believe that life is all about relationships. We are committed to helping people grow in a relationship with God, relationships with each other and the world around us. The only cost is your time and commitment, but you benefit greatly from the close relationships and friendships that develop with the other group members.
Small Groups meet on various days and times in neighborhood homes or at the church. Meetings are led by a trained facilitator, meetings last 1 ½ - 2 hours and include Bible study, prayer and a social time.
