Calling all singles!! Divorced, widowed, never married, with kids or without – whatever the situation, you are welcome here. We are a group of singles, typically 30+, who gather together on Wednesday evenings at the church from 6:30-8:30 PM. Our purpose is to meet, pray, share our lives, support each other, and grow in our faith. We also sit together at the 11:30 AM Sunday morning service in the back right corner closest to Montgomery Rd. Come join us as we celebrate life and discuss issues of faith, friendship, and dating among other pertinent topics. We are an open group so come when you can and bring a friend if you like – we’d love to meet you!

Successful Relationships Workshop

Friday, June 1 thru Saturday, June 2 at MCC

The conference will be led by Craig Henry who serves as a Pastor to Single Adults in the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas. He was on staff at a great church called The Chapel in Akron for about 6 years. This will be his 15th “Successful Relationships Workshop”. SRW is a result of Craig’s doctoral dissertation on “Building Relationship Skills in Single Adults.”

Some of the relational issues that will be dealt with through both teaching times and small group times are:

• How can I know if a relationship has real potential?
• Why are women (or men) a mystery to me?
• How can I avoid sabotaging a good relationship?
• What do I do if I am in an unhealthy relationship?
• Is it possible to break up without it getting ugly?
• How can I become more comfortable with members of the opposite sex?

The cost is $55 ($45 if registered before May 27th) and I would appreciate it if you could encourage anyone you know who is single to consider coming.
